Hydraulic Machinery Jacks, or Machinery Lifting Jacks are they are also commonly referred to – are a common requirement when moving goods with moving skates. They assist in raising the load enough to place the skates beneath the load that is being moved. For some of the lower loads, they are also sometimes used with a roller crowbar, to initially edge up the load.
